Peer Review Process
|
Epistemic Pedagogy Journal applies the following peer review process policies: 1. The Editors conduct an initial review of each submitted manuscript to evaluate its relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and compliance with the journal’s template and author guidelines. During this stage, the editor may communicate with the author(s) to request clarification or minor adjustments. Based on this evaluation, the editor decides whether the manuscript is eligible for peer review or should be declined. 2. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least one reviewer for content evaluation using a double-blind peer review method, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. 3. The peer review process evaluates the manuscript based on criteria including novelty, objectivity, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, clarity of conclusions, and the quality of references. 4. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected. 5. The final publication decision is made by the editor after considering the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s academic standards. 6. The editor’s decision is final. |
